Please call 1-800-631-3197 to activate your new debit card and to select your new PIN. You'll gain additional card benefits including 24/7 fraud protection, worldwide acceptance and contactless technology.

Notice to Cardholders: If you have any recurring charges on your debit card, you'll need to update those vendors AFTER you activate your new card.

What is new?

Our new Visa cards are enabled with contactless technology! Debit cardholders can tap to pay at the checkout. It's fast, easy and secure!

When will I receive my new debit card?
Cardholders will receive their new Visa debit cards by mail in September.

Why am I receiving a new card?
We're transitioning the AOCU debit card from Mastercard to Visa, which provides added card features and benefits. We hope you'll enjoy the enhanced services of your new Visa card. 

Will my account terms such as interest rate, credit line, fees and due dates change?
No. Your basic account terms all remain the same.

Can I still use my Mastercard debit card?
You can use your current debit card through October 6. On October 7, your old card will no longer work. 

What do I do with my old card?
Once your new Visa debit card has been activated, please destroy your old card by cutting it up.

When can I activate the new Visa Debit Card?
Please activate your new card on or after October 7. 

What will happen with automatic/recurring bill payments on my card?
Once your card is active, you'll need to update your merchants who regularly bill this account. This may include wireless, cable and internet providers, insurance companies, highway toll accounts, online merchants and more. 

Can I still access my account at the ATM?
Yes. You will be able to use your new Visa debit card at the ATM. However, upon activation you will need to select a new PIN.

Will I keep my current benefits?
Your new card comes with comparable benefits from Visa so you'll still enjoy all the things you count on. Plus,  you now get additional benefits including Visa's Zero Liability Policy1, Real-Time Fraud Protection and more.

Can I still use the CardNav app?
No, the CardNav app no longer works with our new Visa Debit Cards. However, new card controls will be available February 2021.
