A file from your employer or other qualifying source is submitted to the Federal Reserve to start the direct deposit process. We deposit your money in your checking or savings account when we receive the direct deposit notification.

- Why did I receive my direct deposit early last payday but not this payday?
Early access to direct deposit funds depends on the timing of the submission of the payment file from the payer. Employers do not always submit their direct deposit information at the same time each pay period. For example, one pay period, they may submit it one day early, and the next they may submit it two days early. Unfortunately, we do not have control over the timing, however as soon as we receive your direct deposit, your payment will be posted to your account. You can also enroll in online banking or mobile app text alerts, so you are notified when you receive your direct deposits early.
- What if I change jobs?
If you change jobs, you will need to set up direct deposit through your new employer; however as soon as we receive the new direct deposit from your employer, you’ll start receiving the funds earlier than your scheduled payment date.

Early Payday is an automatic feature of Advantage One accounts that cannot be stopped, this allows you to get your paycheck sooner and access your money faster.
1Early access to direct deposit funds depends on the timing of the submission of the payment file from the payer. We generally make these funds available on the day the payment file is received, which may be up to 2-3 days earlier than the scheduled payment date. Advantage One cannot guarantee early deposits in all cases.
